its Like CERT RAID or PERT RAID equally crappy acronyms, designed for corporate level infrastructure, you wont need it a home unless your home has a hundred people trying to access the same data structures at once.
And this is why APPLE Suck they are missing this level development so while they make good toys, they don´t make good corporate infrastructure and they don´t play well with other´s infrastructure.

not to mention the potential confusion with apple´s QuickTime! this is IBM not apple! ;)
