Quake Shocks Papua New Guinea Region

 

In breaking news an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.0 has hit the Papua New Guinea region today; no tsunami warning has been issued.

It hit at around 7pm local time (8pm AEDT) at a depth of 73km (45 miles), 430km north-northeast of the capital Port Moresby.

That´s pretty deep for an earthquake, that´s got to be getting into the mantle.
