Space Poo Could Be a New Green Solution in Space

UNESCOSat is set to probe a new frontier that no other space program has before. Apparently a large part of the push for "global cooperation, education and our shared heritage" and space exploration hinges on possible fuel conversion alternatives.

A large part of the "push requires fuel" - namely, hydrogen. And one of the best ways to harvest hydrogen is to get bacteria to create it from waste products.

"The UN can see a way for our astronauts to power their way through the galaxies partly aided by their own excrement."

no wonder unesco finally gave it recognition this year, and i quote (recognizing) "the importance of traditional cuisine as a means of sustainable development" / space travel.
