US Worried About Upcoming WikiLeaks Release

Yesterday, US diplomats held talks with friendly nations in an effort to curb the potential damage from the documents that are to be released by WikiLeaks within the next few days.

The documents are believed to contain, amongst other things, revealing information about diplomatic relations between the US and other countries and how the US assesses them.

Spokesman for the State Department, PJ Crowley said, “These revelations are harmful to the US and our interests. They are going to create tension in relationships between our diplomats and our friends around the world.”

Just do a google news search for WikiLeaks - everyone´s talking about it.

The UK government has issued a "DA-Notice" which basically is a gag order to the press (officially it´s a "request" that the press does not publish related information).

Yeah, your "friends" will find out what the US government really thinks of them.

Thanks to WikiLeaks I get to read about all the crap I thought was already going on behind closed doors.

  SADLY

it will be until the end, then, the truth will be manifest to all.

If you tell the truth all the time...

Then you have nothing to fear. If you lie sooner or latter the truth comes out and you look like an ass.

  It´s really

no big secret that the U.S. and for the record, I´m a white, U.S. born republican male so I´m not saying this as someone from another country who dislikes the U.S. BUT it´s no secret that the U.S. thinks it´s superior to pretty much EVERYONE else, we stick out noises up to pretty much EVERYONE else and everyone pretty much hates the U.S.

I don´t think Wiki-leaks was needed to out this fact and to let people know the U.S. thinks poorly of them! :D

Once upon a time I lived in a world of...
Honesty is the best policy, today if you don´t lie you are unexceptionable.

What I do not like about these leaks is that it could cut us all off from communicating with each other. It seems there is a huge gap already between UK and the US.
I know our PM is embarrassing, with his fable fairly tales but I hope you guys don´t hold that against me. :P

From what i have observed over the years you could say that about most Governments.

Please think what this could do to the everyday person. It was bad enough when people were exposing Bush and Blair lies, that was nothing compared to this.

  IF

you tell the truth all the time you may well end up on a cross.

  Lets check our logic...

It is not Wikileaks who put our nation and individuals at risk. It is the actions and policies of our government that, once revealed, result in consequences.

Truth has a way of getting out; in this case, these truths are already known by our enemies, who experience them firsthand; now our government is concerned that our allies will be privy?

I hope everybody considers this; we only see a small fraction of leaked information, meaning there is an entire plethora of hard data over the last hundred years that would turn any decent American´s stomach.

All Of The Partys Are Aware Of The Content

The only one that is not is the public.

The embarrassment is that the public will find out what is going on in their name behind their backs.

  My Government...

records my phone calls, reads me E-Mail, fondles my body and tells me, "If you have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear". To that I say, "What is good for goose is good for the gander". Live in fear you corrupt bastards, you have made your bed, now lie in it. I just love how the Government cries foul about how the release of these documents is going to endanger the lives of Americans. Bull Sh!t. What it´s really going to endanger is the livelihood and over paid jobs of many corrupt government official and that is ALL they are worried about.

There exist no proof that anything will be revealed at any other time. Today and now is the only thing you have, right now. You can either get upset at it now and change it now, or forever accept it.

Whatever happens in the future is anyone´s game as far as you and I are concerned. Muslim, jewish, atheist, Baali, Pharaonic, etc.. the one thing we know for sure, is that no one you love or who loves you, came back from the dead yet to confirm to you the facts they told us while they are alive.

And The Truth Will Put You Behind Bars

Any government that can be destroyed by the revelation of truth, never deserved to exist in the first place. If they can only exist because of deceit, lies and secrecy, then that speaks volumes about the quality of that government and the subhumans that control it.

Some of the comments made about world "leaders" are comments typical of immature gossip mongers or punks calling their peers names and mocking them behind their backs, not the kind of words you would expect from professional, honorable, peace seeking diplomats with our best interests at heart.

The government behaves like a publicly exposed whore still dressing up like a nun despite the laughable, transparent disguise that any fool can see through. Hence, the well-deserved contempt.

No wonder peace is so elusive, with people like that putting on a shallow pretense of honor, it will remain out of reach forever.

Any public officials who do not expect what they say behind the scenes to possibly become a public issue, have demonstrated a lack of intuitive foresight necessary to do their jobs responsibly and are patently unqualified to represent their governments.

They never learn. The stench of their hypocrisy would gag a maggot.

Intelligence, integrity, honor, peace ... mere obsolete words in the dictionary these days - nothing more.
