Police in Rome say explosives have been discovered in a parcel at the Greek Embassy in Rome, Italy. Earlier this week, parcel bombs were found in the Swiss and Chilean embassies.
The parcel at the Greek Embassy did not explode, but police hope they now find information about the offenders. The Venezuelan and Danish embassies in Rome reported suspicious parcels as well.
"The alarm system has worked. Since this morning, all the embassies that had a suspected package alerted the police in enough time to determine whether the packages were dangerous and prevent any injuries," the chief of Rome“s police said.
