The World´s Oldest Person Dead At 114

A Texas woman named Eunice Sanborn died on Monday at her home in Jacksonville, Texas. She was 114 years old. She was born on July 20, 1896 in Lake Charles, LA and was listed as the world´s oldest person.

Sanborn became the world´s oldest person on November 4 when a French nun died at the age of 114. The world´s oldest person is now Besse Cooper, who is 114 years old and lives in Georgia.

A man in Montana who is also 114, became the world´s second oldest person. Sanborn was married and widowed three times. She also outlived her daughter.

  Weird to think about....

When she was a kid there were no cars, no planes, only horses. What a change to have witnessed. My grandfather was born in the 1800´s, he was nearly 100 when man first stepped on the moon and he swore up and down that it was all done in Hollywood. He never drove a car in his life, ran a horse and wagon till the day he died. How far we have come in such a short time.

I was talking to my grandmother the other day (who was born in 1928) about the changes she´s seen. When she was a child, people would walk outside and watch when they heard an airplane passing over. Of course, when I was a kid, they televised every Space Shuttle launch.

"The Lord just called her home,"

from the source.

I wonder if there are any people he just plum forgot to call back?

Can you screen gods calls?

Can he leave you a voice mail?

Can god instant message you instead?

Does god dial the wrong number?

Does he crank call?

I wonder if there are any people he just plum forgot to call back?

No, but sometimes it takes awhile to get back to you as just witnessed.

Can you screen gods calls?

No, She has a direct line.

Can he leave you a voice mail?

Yes, but most people call it schizophrenia.

Can god instant message you instead?

Yes, beware of thunderstorms.

Does god dial the wrong number?

Obviously, Glenn Beck is on television.

Does he crank call?

Yes, just listen to Rush Limbaugh.

I often wonder that same thing. On our current path without major changes in population growth, energy usage, oil supplies, I would guess 10 years. There is some hope on the horizon.

Manufacturing our own oil.

Thorium Reactors

http://www.thorium.tv/...

and eventually Fusion reactors.

http://science.howstuffworks.com/...

Unless we get the energy shortage problems solved we will be looking at WWIII, the end of humanity as we know it within 10 years. It will be back to the stone age. Necessity is the mother of invention and I have hope that mankind will get off the oil bandwagon and make an all out effort to find a solution before it all collapses around our ears. With an oil man like GWB in office there was no hope. If we can get people in office that can see what is about to happen and make plans to circumvent this fate we might stand a chance. I know, intelligent people getting elected to office, it´s a long shot. Stockpile food and survival goods my friend. You may need them very soon.

yes, i´m also thinking of that as you do but as for me i can not predict my life for how long it will be but to tell the truth i´m affraid of my aging and this annoys me and i realized the best is if i´m not thinking of that, the important is i´m now in a good health thank god except my teeth. I can only hope my life will be long.
