Long Claws of the Law Snap Up Lobster Shoplifter

Rochester New Hampshire, An intensive dragnet has closed in on a woman from Gonic, N.H. who walked out of the Market Basket supermarket with 14 lobsters forgetting to pay for them. Police found her hiding in her basement.

Magan Whitcomb, 26, had asked for an assortment of lobsters from the deli clerk valued at about $110 and then proceded out the front door. Store employees reported a part of the get-away van´s license as "222".

Captain Paul Callahan reports receiving multiple tips as to Megan´s whereabouts and followed the leads to the 141 Flagg Rd residence in Gonic where no lobsters were found. She also had an outstanding warrant for a shoplifting spree at Walmart.
