Man Allegedly Beats Neighbor´s Dog to Death With Hammer

40-year-old Young Song, working as an animator with DreamWorks Animation, pleads not guilty to a felony charge of animal cruelty though his neighbor says Song shot his German shepherd with a pellet gun and beat him with a hammer.

Steve McNall, president and chief executive officer of the Pasadena Humane Society and SPCA, says the incident happened on April 20 and was caught on tape.

"In my 31 years, that is the worst I´ve ever seen," he added. Song was arrested Wednesday. The dog´s body has not been found yet.
