New Zealand artist Sandy Sanderson builds detailed automobile models out of empty beer and soda cans. Inspired by aircraft models made of aluminium cans, he started creating his automobile models.
His first model was the Cooper Climax, which he created out of Coruba cans. Some cars are nearly impossible to copy for him, as they have compound curves, which can“t be modelled out of cans.
Therefore, Sandy has concentrated on antique cars. His models sell for $800 to $2,000 and can be bought on his website.
