Audi Presents Gas-Powered A3

German car manufacturer Audi presented a part of its carbon-cutting strategy: the gas-powered A3. Additionally, an electric A1 will accompany the gas-driven A3 on its strive for zero emissions.

From 2013 onwards, Audi will build a limited number of the A1 e-tron and 1,500 e-gas A3s. The A3 e-gas is powered by a 1.4-litre turbocharged engine offering 109bhp. The gas-tank is supported by a petrol-tank.

The top speed is estimated at 118mph. One gas tank fill will last for around 250 miles.
