Pizza Parlor Offers World´s Most Expensive Pizza for $1,000

Nino´s Bellissima Pizza in New York offers the world´s most expensive pizza for $250 per slice. Owner Nino Selimaj had the idea of selling this exclusive type of pizza in his parlor in 2007.

He spent one year solely researching the right ingredients and chose creme fraiche as base, four different kinds of caviar, lobster tail, salmon roe and wasabi.

The dough is made with original Italian flour. However, those who tried it say it doesn´t taste like pizza.
Due to the financial crisis, less people buy a slice of the most expensive pizza, Nino said.

  Yeah...

It doesn´t even have tomato sauce on it. So it may use the best ingredients, but is it actually any good? haha

  Sales

From the source: ".. and while he used to sell between 2 and 10 pies a week before the crisis, sales were down to one every two weeks, even one a month."

2 to 10?

  he is a gangster

He is money laundering with this pizza. Almost nobody would ever buy it but he can mark down people that did without actually making the pizza that much. So he puts into his books about all all the people he supposedly sold the pizza . He just says he makes its a lot of people but he just runs his dirty drug money through the company
