Microsoft Plans to Add Live Television, New "Halo" to Xbox 360

At its big pre-E3 press conference, Microsoft Corp. said it intends to bring live television and another chapter of the "Halo" game to the video game console Xbox 360.

The company demonstrated games that will add the popular Kinect motion-sensing device, such as "Mass Effect 3" and "Tom Clancy´s Ghost Recon Future Soldier".

Also it unveiled "Halo 4", which is supposed to be "the dawn of a new trilogy for the blockbuster, intergalactic shoot-´em-up series".

  Oh halo

You will soon be called on as a devil more then an angel. People will soon tire of this franchise when it´s all the same. CoD rings a bell...

I don´t know about that. These types of series have large followings, and new fans are probably born at the release of each new game. Not to mention there are several examples of games that have persisted for decades without a slow-down. Mario, Sonic, Zelda, etc. Of course those are game icons from a different era, but Xbox wasn´t around then, so there´s not much to compare. I think Halo IS Xbox´s "Mario".

Well put. Admittedly, there will be those who tire of the series, or grow to an age where their preferences differ from what they used to, but for the most part I´d tend to agree with your assessment.
