In 2003, Ed Jarrett set a new record for the world´s tallest sandcastle. In 2007, he broke his own record, building an even taller one, and now he did it again.
The new tallest sandcastle on earth is 37 feet, 10 inches high. 1,500 people helped him for 2,500 hours building the large creation out of 1.6 million pounds of sand. In total, the building took them 7 weeks.
Initially, Jarrett wanted to build it even larger, but bad weather conditons made the team have it certified before it could be destroyed by the rain.
