Week 1 of the CFL season continued yesterday and the fourth game of the week saw the Edmonton Eskimoes defeat the Saskatchewan Roughriders by a score of 42-28 in Sasketchewan. The Eskimoes are 1-0-0 while the Roughriders are 0-1-0.
Barnes got 2 touchdowns, Porter, Joseph and Bowman got a touchdown each and Duval got 2 field-goals and a single for the Eskimoes. Cates, Hill and Clermont got a touchdown each and Johnson got 2 field-goals and a single for the Roughriders.
In week 2 the Eskimoes will play the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in Edmonton on July 9th, while the Roughriders will play the Montreal Alouettes in Saskatchewan also on July 9th.
