Inmate Files Lawsuit Against Michigan Gov. Over Jail´s Porn Ban

Kyle Richards of Michigan, who is in jail for a bank heist, decided to sue Gov. Rick Snyder because pornograhic materials are not allowed in jail, which he describes as "cruel" and "unusual punishment".

"Such living conditions have been used as a method of ´psychological warfare´ against prisoners, in order to both destroy the morale of inmates and break the spirit of individual," Richards states in the suit.

In state prisons inmates are permitted to possess porn magazines such as the Playboy.

Playboy is NOT porn. The naked body is NOT porn unless graphic coitus between at least two people is involved. Sheesh.
Playboy is, and always has been, art. IMO

  he´s probably

tired of waking up in the morning for his morning ritual of bend over and take it in the chute, or get stabbed in the shower with a toothbrush/comb combination.

  Either way, I guess......

One one hand, it sounds like a government imposing religous views on it´s population, in a country claiming to have freedom of religion.

On the other hand, ... they´re inmates, ... and many of their rights of citizenship are limited are revoked when they are sentenced....

However, ... I will take a wild guess and assume that prison rape will be on the rise with the ban on nude art/pornography.
