College Bans Student for Facebook Post

A student at the Catawba Valley Community College was banned from campus for two semesters after posting a message on the college´s Facebook page.

"Anyone know any good viruses to send them? Maybe we should register them with every porn site known to man," Marc Bechtol´s post said. Later he added "Maybe that would be excessive."

The student said he wrote the comment after noticing numerous spam emails in his college account and figured that the college sold his personal information.
