It´s Official: Katy Perry and Russell Brand to Divorce

Pop star Katy Perry, 27 and her husband, actor Russell Brand, 36 have officially called it quits.

Following months of divorce rumors, they decided to get a divorce. Brand confirmed the news with a statement saying "Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I´ll always adore her and I know we´ll remain friends."

He was the one who filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. The couple has been married for 14 months.
