A Southern California doctor has been charged with murder after three of her patients died of prescription drug overdose. If convicted of all the charges, Dr. Hsui-Ying "Lisa" Tseng, 42 faces a maximum sentence of 45 years in prison.
An investigation by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency has linked Tseng to the deaths of Vu Nguyen, 29, of Lake Forest, Steven Ogle, 25, of Palm Desert and Joseph Rovero III, 21, of San Ramon. All three died in 2009.
Tseng, who has been dubbed "Dr. Feelgood", passed out presctiptions for drugs like Xanax and OxyContin. In an interview she said "If my patient decides to take a month´s supply in a day, then there´s nothing I can do about that."
