Daily Quality Protein Intake Wards Off Aging


Age-related muscle mass loss can be prevented by making the right food choices. Dietitian Lona Sandon recommends to raise your daily protein intake.

At the same time it´s important to choose good quality protein that matches the body´s requirements, such as fish, lean meat and yogurt.

"The bad news is because we are aging, we are losing muscle mass, and we need the right type of calories to help promote and keep that lean muscle mass," she says.
