A dispute over television volume lead to the stabbing of an 81-year-old man, police in Manchester, New Hampshire say.

Police responded to a call from the victim Thursday night and when officers arrived at his apartment they found the man holding a bloody cloth to his chest.

The victim is treated at a hospital for his injuries while his roommate has been charged with first-degree assault.
