Pope Meets Cuba´s Former President Fidel Castro

Pope Benedict XVI is set to complete his trip to Cuba with a mass in Havana´s Revolution Plaza and a meeting with Cuba´s former president Fidel Castro.

The 84-year-old head of the Roman Catholic church has met with Cuba´s current president, Fidel Castro´s younger brother Raul Castro, Tuesday and is scheduled to talk to Fidel before he returns to Rome.

Benedict hasn´t directly criticized Cuba´s political system but offered prayers "for those denied freedom".
