U.S. ultra-marathon runner Micah True, 58 was found dead on Saturday in New Mexico four days after going missing. The search for him began after he failed to return from a routine 12-mile run.
True spent Monday night at The Wilderness Lodge and was last seen by lodge co-owner Dean Bruemmer. He was described as a "legend among ultrarunners" and was the subject of Christopher McDougalls best-selling book "Born to Run".
The cause of death is still undetermined. An autopsy will shed light on how he died.
