Charlie Naysmith, 8 was strolling the beach in Bournemouth, Great Britain when he stumbled upon what he thought was just a yellowish beige rock. Later it turned out that the rock is a piece of ambergris, a substance expelled by sperm whales.
"He is into nature and is really interested in it. We have discovered it is quite rare and are waiting for some more information from marine biology experts," says his father Alex Naysmith.
The whale vomit has been estimated to be worth as much as $63,000.
