Liverpool Win Charity Shield

Liverpool defeated long-time rivals Manchester Utd. in a thrilling Charity Shield match held in the Millennium Stadium in wales.

Liverpool strike-man McAllister scored from a penalty in the first opening minutes after a foul within the area. Though Keane managed to level the score, Owen proved his finesse and put an end to Manchesters hopes. The final score 2-1.

Despite minor scuffles before the match, the crowd were delighted with the outcome as were the grinning lads from Liverpool.
