Russian walruses need British dentist

An appeal to raise money is going through Russia's media: The money is to pay a specialist from Britain who will help ten walruses in Moscow Zoo who are suffering from toothache.

Because they live in captivity the walruses grind their teeth on the concrete. Also, tooth decay is a problem, each of the walruses is already on antibiotics because of the pain.

Anna Pavolva, who is responsible for the animals, is very worried - she hopes that enough money will be found to pay specialist Peter Kertesz from London who is already known because he repaired the teeth of Leopards in Moscow Zoo before.
